Cipralex 10mg Tablets (28 pack) contain escitalopram, Lundbeck's widely prescribed SSRI antidepressant for depression and anxiety disorders. Including generalised anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Escitalopram restores the balance of serotonin, the brain chemical that regulates mood, lifting persistent low mood, easing excessive worry and helping patients re-engage with daily life. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 10mg tablet once daily, morning or evening, with or without food. Benefits typically appear after 2-4 weeks; continue even when you start feeling better, usually for at least 6 months. Never stop abruptly. The dose is tapered gradually to avoid discontinuation symptoms. Keep regular follow-up appointments.

May briefly increase anxiety or, rarely, distressing thoughts when starting, particularly in young adults. Report mood worsening or thoughts of self-harm immediately. Do not combine with MAOIs, and use caution with tramadol, triptans and St John's Wort (serotonin syndrome risk), or with blood thinners and NSAIDs (bleeding risk). Can affect heart rhythm at higher doses. Tell your doctor about heart conditions. Avoid alcohol. Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store below 30°C.
