Veniz 37.5mg Capsules contain venlafaxine, a serotonin-noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat depression and certain anxiety disorders, including generalised anxiety and panic disorder. By helping to restore the balance of natural chemicals (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain, venlafaxine can improve mood, energy and feelings of well-being. Veniz is prescribed for adults managing depression and anxiety as part of a treatment plan supervised by a doctor.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Veniz capsules are usually swallowed whole with water, with food, at the same time each day. Your doctor will set your dose and may adjust it gradually. Do not stop taking it suddenly, as this can cause withdrawal effects; your doctor will guide you on reducing the dose slowly when stopping.

Prescription-only medicine. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have high blood pressure, heart, liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, or a history of seizures or bipolar disorder. Do not use with or near MAOI antidepressants. May cause drowsiness, dizziness, raised blood pressure, nausea or sleep changes; avoid driving until you know how it affects you. Avoid alcohol.
