Overview
Xylocaine 2% Jelly is a local anesthetic used to temporarily numb certain areas of the body. It is used as an anesthetic lubricant to insert instruments in the human body for medical procedures (e.g., catheters). It is also used for the treatment of symptoms of painful inflammation of the urethra and bladder.
2% Xylocaine® DENTAL with adrenaline (epinephrine) 1:80,000 consists of lidocaine (lignocaine) hydrochloride 2% (21.3 mg/mL) and adrenaline (epinephrine) acid tartrate (22.7 mcg/mL) in a 1:80,000 strength.
