Overview

Acepar MR is a muscle-relaxant pain reliever combining aceclofenac (an anti-inflammatory), paracetamol and chlorzoxazone, a centrally acting muscle relaxant. The 'MR' formula is designed for painful conditions involving muscle spasm and stiffness. Such as lower back pain, neck pain, sprains and sports injuries. By relaxing tight muscles while reducing pain and inflammation, Acepar MR helps restore comfortable movement. Supplied as a 10-caplet pack for short courses of treatment.

Active ingredients: Aceclofenac 100mg, Paracetamol 325mg, Chlorzoxazone 250mg per caplet (confirm exact strengths on packaging).

Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow one caplet with water after food, usually twice daily or as prescribed. Because chlorzoxazone can cause drowsiness, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing products.

Not suitable with active peptic ulcers, severe liver, kidney or heart disease, or NSAID/paracetamol allergy. May cause drowsiness, dizziness or, rarely, harmless orange-red discolouration of urine from chlorzoxazone. Avoid alcohol and sedatives. Not advised in late pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical guidance. Store below 30°C in a dry place.
