Overview

Celcoxx 100mg (celecoxib) is a prescription anti-inflammatory painkiller (a COX-2 selective NSAID). It relieves pain, swelling and stiffness in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and acute musculoskeletal pain. By selectively targeting the COX-2 enzyme, it reduces inflammation and pain, helping adults manage arthritis and other painful inflammatory conditions, used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Celcoxx 100mg is usually taken once or twice daily, with water, with or without food (taking it with food can reduce stomach upset). Use the lowest dose that controls your symptoms for the shortest time needed. Do not take other NSAIDs at the same time, and do not exceed the prescribed dose.

This is a prescription medicine. NSAIDs can raise the risk of stomach ulcers/bleeding and of heart attack or stroke, especially with long use, in the elderly, or with heart disease. Tell your doctor about heart, blood pressure, kidney, liver or stomach problems. Do not use if you are allergic to celecoxib, sulfonamides, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Avoid in late pregnancy. Seek urgent help for chest pain, black stools, or signs of a serious skin or allergic reaction. Tell your doctor about other medicines. Store in a cool, dry place.
