Celcoxx 200mg Capsules (commonly sold in small packs) contain celecoxib, a COX-2 selective anti-inflammatory (NSAID) that relieves pain and inflammation while being gentler on the stomach than older NSAIDs. Celecoxib reduces the pain, swelling and stiffness of conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other musculoskeletal pain. By selectively targeting the COX-2 enzyme behind inflammation, it offers effective relief with a lower risk of stomach irritation. The 200mg strength is a common dose. A doctor-prescribed anti-inflammatory helping people manage arthritis and inflammatory joint pain.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one capsule once or twice daily, with or without food, swallowed with water. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed. Taking it with food can help if it upsets your stomach. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, and tell your doctor if pain is not controlled.

Because it is an NSAID, tell your doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke, kidney or liver problems, or stomach ulcers. COX-2 medicines can raise blood pressure and carry heart and kidney risks, and are avoided in significant heart disease. Do not use with a sulfonamide allergy. Take the lowest dose for the shortest time. Stop and seek care for black stools, severe stomach pain, chest pain, breathlessness or signs of allergy. Not for use in late pregnancy or breastfeeding.
