Overview
Cox B 200mg contains celecoxib, a selective anti-inflammatory painkiller (COX-2 inhibitor). It relieves the pain, swelling and stiffness of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other musculoskeletal conditions. By targeting the COX-2 enzyme it eases inflammation while being gentler on the stomach lining than traditional NSAIDs. The 200mg strength is commonly used for arthritis pain. Supplied as a 50-capsule pack.
Active ingredient: Celecoxib 200mg per capsule.
Directions for Use
This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow the capsule with water, with or without food, usually once or twice daily as prescribed. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed to control symptoms. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Avoid in active stomach ulcers, significant heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe liver or kidney problems. Tell your doctor about sulfonamide allergy. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. May raise cardiovascular risk with long-term use. Follow your doctor's guidance. Store below 30°C.
