Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. For acute gout, typically one 120mg tablet once daily, with or without food, for a maximum of 8 days. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Do not combine with other NSAIDs, including ibuprofen or diclofenac.

Avoid with established heart disease, stroke history, uncontrolled hypertension, severe liver or kidney disease, active stomach ulcer, and in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Etoricoxib can raise blood pressure. It should be monitored. Stop and seek care for chest pain, black stools, swelling or breathlessness. Caution with blood thinners, diuretics and ACE inhibitors.
