Overview

Lobak Tablets (10 pack) are a muscle relaxant and pain-relief combination. Typically pairing chlorzoxazone, a muscle relaxant, with paracetamol (and sometimes an anti-inflammatory) for painful muscle spasm: back pain, stiff neck and strain-related musculoskeletal pain. The relaxant releases the spasm while paracetamol eases the pain, restoring comfortable movement during short-course recovery.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take as prescribed, typically one to two tablets two to three times daily with or after food, for the short course prescribed. Never combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines, and do not exceed the stated maximum. Confirm the exact composition with your pharmacist.

Contains paracetamol. Overdose causes serious liver damage; check all other medicines for paracetamol content. The muscle relaxant causes drowsiness. Do not drive until you know your response, and avoid alcohol. Chlorzoxazone can rarely affect the liver. Report yellowing of the skin, dark urine or persistent nausea. Harmless orange/reddish urine discolouration can occur. Seek review if pain persists beyond a week. Not recommended in pregnancy without advice.
