Overview

Loxiam is indicated in the short term relief of acute mild and moderate pain ,symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis and symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation in rhematoiud arthritis. Lornoxicam is a highly potent non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug belonging to the chemical class of oxicams. The drug exhibits anti inflammatory and analgesic activity in various experimental models for acute and chronic painful processes.

Directions for Use

Dosage: 8-16 mg daily divided into 2 or 3 doses. Maximum recommended daily dose is 24 mg .

Side effects:-Gastro intestinal;peptic ulcers, perforation or GI bleeding diarrhea,indigestion ,nausea, vomiting flatulence,constipation ,abdominal pain ,melaena,hematemesis,Crohnâ€™s disease and ulcerative stomatitis.-Central nervous system;Headache ,drowsiness, sleeplessness and dizziness.-Eye and ENT;visual disturbances ,ringing in ear and sensitivity to light.-Heart;Hypertension ,cardiac failure and oedema,Genitourinary -kidney damage and Skin-skin death and rash.
