Newcox-TH Tablets (30 pack) combine etoricoxib, an anti-inflammatory pain reliever, with thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant, to treat painful musculoskeletal conditions with muscle spasm. Etoricoxib (a COX-2 selective NSAID) reduces the pain and inflammation of conditions such as back pain, neck pain, arthritis flares and sports or strain injuries, while thiocolchicoside relaxes the tight, knotted muscles that add to the pain. Tackling both inflammation and spasm together gives more complete relief. A doctor-prescribed option helping people manage painful back, neck and muscle conditions. Confirm the actives on the pack.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once or twice daily, with or after food and a glass of water, for the short course your doctor advises. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed. Do not exceed the prescribed dose, and tell your doctor if pain or spasm does not improve.

Because it contains an anti-inflammatory (NSAID), take it with food and avoid if you have a stomach ulcer; tell your doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, as COX-2 medicines can affect the heart and kidneys. The muscle relaxant can cause drowsiness or, occasionally, loose stools. Avoid driving until you know its effect, and avoid alcohol. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
