Overview

Chlorpar Plus is a prescription combination medicine for painful muscle conditions, containing paracetamol, diclofenac and chlorzoxazone. Diclofenac (an anti-inflammatory) and paracetamol relieve pain and reduce inflammation, while chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant that eases muscle spasm. Together they relieve pain, stiffness and discomfort from conditions such as back pain, neck pain, sprains, strains and other painful muscle spasms, helping adults move more comfortably during recovery.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Chlorpar Plus is usually taken with or after food, swallowed whole with water, for the shortest time needed to control symptoms. Do not take other paracetamol- or anti-inflammatory-containing medicines at the same time, to avoid overdose. Do not change the dose or take it for longer than advised.

This is a prescription medicine. Do not use if you are allergic to these ingredients, or if anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) trigger asthma, or if you have an active stomach ulcer or severe heart, kidney or liver disease. May cause drowsiness. Avoid driving and alcohol. Take the lowest effective dose for the shortest time; NSAIDs can cause stomach bleeding and affect the kidneys and heart. Do not exceed the paracetamol limit. Avoid in pregnancy (especially late) and breastfeeding unless advised. Tell your doctor about other medicines. Store in a cool, dry place.
