Overview

Diclofenac Gel (20g) is a topical anti-inflammatory gel that relieves pain and inflammation where it is applied. It contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and is rubbed into the skin over painful areas such as strained muscles, sprains, backache, and arthritic joints (like the knees, hands and ankles). Applied locally, it eases pain and swelling with less of the body-wide exposure of NSAID tablets. A handy, targeted pain-relief option for people managing muscle, joint and sports pain. Directions for Use

For external use on intact skin. Squeeze out the amount directed on the label (often a few centimetres of gel) and gently massage it into the skin over the painful area until absorbed, usually three to four times a day, not exceeding the stated daily amount. Wash your hands afterwards (unless treating the hands). Do not cover with airtight dressings. Allow a few hours between applications and avoid the eyes.

For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth, broken or infected skin. Wash hands after applying, and do not use under tight dressings. Although applied to the skin, it is still an NSAID. Do not use if you have had asthma or allergy triggered by NSAIDs/aspirin, and use with care alongside NSAID tablets. Protect treated skin from strong sun.
