Overview

Loxiam Plus combines lornoxicam 8mg, an anti-inflammatory painkiller (NSAID), with paracetamol 500mg for stronger relief of moderate pain and inflammation. It is used for back, joint and muscle pain, dental pain, and pain after injury. By pairing two complementary painkillers, it offers more complete relief than either alone. Supplied as a 10-tablet pack for short-term use.

Active ingredients: Lornoxicam 8mg, Paracetamol 500mg per tablet.

Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow one tablet with water, with or after food to protect the stomach, usually twice daily or as prescribed. Do not take other paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.

Avoid with active stomach ulcers, severe heart, liver or kidney disease, or NSAID/aspirin allergy. Not recommended in late pregnancy or breastfeeding. May cause stomach upset, dizziness or drowsiness; report black stools or severe stomach pain. Limit alcohol. Store below 30°C.
