Parafast 1g Tablets (8 pack) deliver a full 1000mg dose of paracetamol in a single tablet. Strong, simple relief for headache, fever, toothache, period pain, backache and the aches of colds and flu. Paracetamol remains the world's most trusted first-line painkiller because it is effective yet gentle on the stomach, making Parafast suitable for most adults including many for whom anti-inflammatories are unsuitable. One tablet replaces two standard 500mg tablets, making correct adult dosing quicker and easier.

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 16: take one 1g tablet every 4-6 hours as needed, with water. Do not exceed 4 tablets (4g) in 24 hours, and leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take any other paracetamol-containing medicine (including cold and flu remedies) at the same time. See a doctor if pain lasts beyond a few days or fever beyond 3 days.

Paracetamol overdose causes severe, sometimes fatal liver damage and symptoms may appear only after a day or two. Never exceed the stated dose, and seek emergency care immediately after any overdose even if you feel well. Use with caution and reduced doses in liver or kidney disease, chronic alcohol use, and low body weight. Ask your doctor. Generally considered safe at recommended doses in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Store below 30°C.
