Voltaren 100mg Suppositories (5 pack) contain diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), in a suppository form that is inserted rectally. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine for rectal use. Use only as directed by your doctor. Usually one suppository inserted into the back passage once or twice a day, not exceeding the prescribed daily diclofenac total (including any tablets). Empty the bowel if possible first, wash your hands, remove the wrapper, and gently insert the pointed end, then wash your hands. It is often used at night for lasting relief. Use the lowest dose for the shortest time.

As an NSAID, it can cause stomach irritation, ulcers or bleeding, and carries heart and kidney risks, especially with long use or in older people. Use the lowest effective dose briefly. Do not use if you have a stomach ulcer, severe heart, kidney or liver disease, or have had asthma or allergy triggered by NSAIDs/aspirin; avoid in late pregnancy. Tell your doctor about blood thinners and other medicines. Report black stools, stomach pain or breathlessness. Store below 30°C.
