Airz 50mcg Inhaler Capsules (30 capsules + device) contain salmeterol, a long-acting bronchodilator, delivered as inhalation powder capsules via the supplied device. For the regular control of asthma (alongside a steroid inhaler) and COPD. Salmeterol keeps the airways open over many hours, preventing wheeze and breathlessness when taken regularly twice daily.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Place one capsule in the device as instructed, pierce it, and inhale the powder fully. Typically twice daily, morning and evening. Do not swallow the capsules. In asthma, salmeterol must always be used together with a steroid inhaler, never alone. It is a preventer, not a rescue inhaler. Keep a separate fast-acting reliever for sudden symptoms.

In asthma, never use this long-acting bronchodilator without a regular steroid inhaler. Used alone it can be unsafe. It does not relieve sudden attacks. Use your fast-acting reliever for those, and seek urgent review if you need the reliever more often or symptoms worsen. May cause tremor, palpitations or headache.
