Flixotide 50mcg Evohaler (120 doses) delivers a low dose of fluticasone propionate, GSK's inhaled corticosteroid preventer, suited to children and to adults needing gentle daily asthma control. Taken every day, it quietly settles the airway inflammation behind coughing, wheezing and chest tightness, cutting the risk of attacks while keeping the steroid dose to a minimum. The 50mcg strength is a common starting preventer for younger asthma patients , used with a spacer and mask for reliable delivery.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Commonly one to two puffs twice daily, every day, even when symptom-free. For children, use a spacer (with mask for the youngest) for effective delivery. Shake before use, press once per puff and let the child take 5-6 slow breaths through the spacer. Rinse the mouth (or give a drink) afterwards. Keep a reliever inhaler for acute wheeze.

Not for relief of an acute attack. Rinse the mouth or give a drink after use to prevent oral thrush and hoarseness. Do not stop abruptly. Step down only on medical advice. Long-term use in children warrants periodic growth monitoring. Seek urgent care if breathing worsens rapidly or the reliever is needed more often.
