Overview
Dermovate Ointment contains Clobetasol 0.05% w/w which is used in the treatment of skin infections. Dermovate Ointment is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
Directions for Use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Dermovate Ointment may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Please consult your doctor. Common side effects include Skin thinning, Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).
