Overview

Momate Cream contains mometasone furoate 0.1%, a potent topical corticosteroid that reduces skin inflammation. It is used to relieve the redness, itching, swelling and irritation of inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema (dermatitis) and psoriasis. The lighter, non-greasy cream base absorbs easily, making it well suited to less dry or slightly moist areas and to daytime use. Momate Cream calms the overactive inflammation behind these flare-ups to soothe sore, itchy skin. It is for external use on the skin only and is intended for short courses under medical guidance.

Directions for Use

Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Apply a thin film of Momate Cream to the affected area of clean, dry skin once daily, gently rubbing in until absorbed. Wash your hands afterwards, unless the hands are the area being treated. Do not cover with airtight dressings unless advised. Use for the shortest time needed, and avoid the face unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use on broken or infected skin, or on large areas for long periods, unless directed. Avoid the face, underarms and groin unless your doctor advises, and use with caution in children. Prolonged use can thin the skin. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Stop and seek advice if the skin becomes more irritated. Store below 25°C.
