Overview

Unisten Cream 20g contains clotrimazole 1%, a broad-spectrum antifungal cream used to treat common fungal skin infections including ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, fungal nappy rash, candidal skin infections and pityriasis versicolor. The patchy light or dark skin discolouration common in warm, humid climates. Clotrimazole works by destroying the fungal cell membrane, stopping the infection from growing and spreading. Unisten is an affordable, widely trusted antifungal choice for itchy, scaly, spreading skin rashes, suitable for most of the family.

Directions for Use

Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and the area just around it two to three times daily, rubbing in gently. Wash hands after use unless treating the hands. Continue for 1-2 weeks after the rash has cleared to prevent it returning. Stopping too early is the most common cause of recurrence. See a doctor if there is no improvement within 2-4 weeks.

For external use only. Avoid the eyes and mouth; rinse with water if contact occurs. Mild burning, stinging or redness can occur at the application site; stop use if severe irritation or an allergic reaction develops. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding, or before treating extensive areas or young children. Keep the affected area clean and dry; avoid sharing towels to prevent spreading the infection. Store below 30°C.
