Overview

Beclomin Ointment (15g) contains beclometasone, a topical corticosteroid used to calm inflamed, itchy skin. Applied to the affected area, beclometasone reduces the redness, swelling and itching of steroid-responsive skin conditions such as eczema (dermatitis) and other inflammatory rashes. Directions for Use

Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Usually a thin layer applied to the affected skin once or twice daily. For external use only. Avoid the eyes, face (unless advised) and broken or infected skin. Topical steroids should be used short-term; prolonged or excessive use can thin the skin. Do not use on undiagnosed rashes that may be infected (e.g. ringworm or impetigo), as steroids can worsen them. Tell your doctor if the skin does not improve.
