Ibumex Suspension is an oral ibuprofen medicine in an easy-to-take liquid form, popular for children. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves pain and brings down fever. The suspension is commonly used for fever, teething, headache, toothache, sore throat, earache, and the aches that come with colds and flu, as well as after vaccinations. It provides effective relief of pain and high temperature in a measured liquid that is convenient to dose for children. Confirm the ibuprofen strength per 5ml against the packaging.

Directions for Use

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with the cap or an oral syringe, based on the child's age and weight as stated on the packaging. Give with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Doses are usually given every 6-8 hours, with no more than 3 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose, and make sure the child drinks fluids.

Give with or after food and ensure adequate fluids. Not suitable for children who are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs, or who have had asthma, wheezing or skin reactions triggered by them. Use with caution in children with asthma, dehydration, kidney problems or stomach issues, and during chickenpox. Avoid in late pregnancy. Do not give with other NSAID-containing products.
