Overview
Idanil Tablets (30 pack) are a blood-building multivitamin and mineral supplement used to treat and prevent anaemia and nutritional deficiency. They combine well-absorbed forms of iron (ferrous bisglycinate) and zinc (zinc bisglycinate) with vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and folic acid. The key nutrients needed to make healthy red blood cells. This helps correct the tiredness, weakness and pallor of anaemia and supports increased needs, such as in pregnancy. A gentle, well-tolerated supplement helping women and expectant mothers build healthy blood and boost low iron. Confirm quantities on the pack.
Active ingredients: Ferrous bisglycinate (iron), Zinc bisglycinate (zinc), Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12) and Folic acid. Confirm exact quantities on the pack.
Directions for Use
Take only as directed on the label or by your doctor. Commonly one tablet daily, swallowed whole with water. Taking it with a source of vitamin C (such as citrus fruit or juice) helps iron absorption, while tea, coffee, milk and antacids reduce it. Space these a couple of hours apart. The bisglycinate forms of iron and zinc are designed to be gentler on the stomach. Continue for the period your doctor advises to rebuild your iron stores.
A nutritional supplement. Iron can cause mild stomach upset, constipation or darkened stools, which is harmless. Do not exceed the recommended dose, and do not take alongside other iron supplements. Tell your doctor about stomach ulcers or bowel disease. Iron is dangerous in overdose, especially for children. Keep well out of their reach. If you have an undiagnosed anaemia, see a doctor, as the cause should be checked. Store in a cool, dry place. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new supplement. Keep out of reach of children.
