Overview
Ideos Chewable Tablets (30 pack) provide calcium 500mg with vitamin D3 400 IU in a pleasant lemon-flavoured chewable, the classic combination for protecting bone strength. Calcium rebuilds and maintains the skeleton while vitamin D3 ensures the calcium is absorbed and directed into bone. Particularly important for women after menopause, older adults, and anyone on osteoporosis treatment, which works best with adequate calcium and vitamin D on board. An easy, chewable daily habit for lifelong bone health.
Calcium carbonate equivalent to 500mg elemental calcium with cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 400 IU per chewable tablet.
Directions for Use
Chew or suck one tablet twice daily, ideally with or after meals (morning and evening). If you take thyroid hormone, iron, or tetracycline/quinolone antibiotics, separate them from Ideos by at least 2-4 hours. Use consistently. Bone benefits come from daily, long-term intake combined with weight-bearing exercise.
Do not use with high blood calcium, severe kidney impairment, kidney stones or vitamin D overdose. Mild constipation and bloating can occur. Tell your doctor about all supplements to avoid doubling calcium or vitamin D, and about digoxin or diuretic use. Monitoring may be needed. Long-term high-dose use warrants occasional blood calcium checks. Suitable in pregnancy within recommended intakes. Confirm with your doctor. Store below 30°C in a dry place.
