Overview

Inspra 25 mg contains Eplerenone 25 mg which is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease. Inspra 25 mg Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic. It lowers blood pressure and swelling by removing the extra water and electrolytes from the body without loss of potassium.

Directions for Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Inspra 25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Taking Eplerenone with alcohol may lead to headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, changes in pulse or heart rate and/or low blood pressure. Inspra 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Common side effects include Dizziness, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Cough, Flu-like symptoms, Fatigue, Increased potassium level in blood, Increased creatinine level in blood.
