Overview
Ivermectol 6mg Tablets contain ivermectin, a widely used antiparasitic medicine. It treats infections caused by certain worms and parasites. Including strongyloidiasis (threadworm of the gut) and onchocerciasis (river blindness), and is also used for parasitic skin conditions such as scabies and, under medical guidance, head lice. Ivermectin paralyses and clears the parasites, relieving the itching and skin or gut symptoms they cause. A single weight-based dose is often enough. For people facing parasitic infections, Ivermectol is an effective, doctor-directed treatment.
Active: Ivermectin 6mg per tablet.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. The dose is based on your body weight, usually taken as a single dose, sometimes repeated after one to two weeks for certain conditions. Swallow the tablet(s) with a full glass of water on an empty stomach (about one hour before food). Follow your doctor's instructions on any repeat doses and follow-up stool or skin checks.
Tell your doctor if you have liver problems, take other medicines, or have travelled where the Loa loa parasite is found (treatment can rarely cause serious reactions there). Mild dizziness, itching, rash or stomach upset can occur as parasites clear. Not generally recommended in pregnancy or for children under 15kg unless a doctor decides the benefit is justified; discuss breastfeeding with your doctor. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
