Ketosteril Tablets (100 pack) provide ketoanalogues of essential amino acids, used together with a strict low-protein diet in chronic kidney disease to delay dialysis. Ketosteril supplies the building blocks of essential amino acids without the nitrogen load that burdens failing kidneys. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take the prescribed number of tablets divided with meals, swallowed whole, exactly as your nephrologist directs. Dosing is based on body weight and must accompany the prescribed low-protein diet to work. Do not change your diet or dose without specialist guidance.

Effective and safe only as part of a supervised low-protein diet with regular monitoring of kidney function, calcium and nutritional status. Tell your doctor about high blood calcium and all other medicines. Separate from certain antibiotics (tetracyclines/quinolones) by at least 2 hours, as calcium binding reduces their absorption. Report persistent nausea or symptoms of high calcium. Use in pregnancy only on specialist advice.
