Linamide 10mg Tablets (18 pack) contain lenalidomide, an immunomodulatory anti-cancer medicine used to treat multiple myeloma, certain myelodysplastic syndromes and some lymphomas. Lenalidomide works through the immune system and directly on cancer cells to slow disease and, in myeloma, is a cornerstone of modern treatment. Prescribed and monitored strictly within specialist haematology and oncology care. This medicine is administered under specialist medical supervision only.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Take the capsules/tablets once daily as prescribed by your specialist, at about the same time, swallowed whole with water. Usually in treatment cycles (for example, taken for a set number of days then a break) exactly as your regimen directs. Do not open, break or chew them, and do not handle them more than necessary. Attend all blood tests and appointments. This medicine is administered under specialist medical supervision only.

CRITICAL: lenalidomide causes severe birth defects and must NEVER be taken or handled in pregnancy. It is dispensed under a strict pregnancy-prevention programme requiring reliable contraception and regular pregnancy testing for women of childbearing potential, and precautions for men (it passes into semen; use condoms). Do not donate blood or sperm during and after treatment. It raises the risk of blood clots (clot-prevention is usually prescribed. Report leg swelling, chest pain or breathlessness) and lowers blood counts (report fever, infection, bruising or bleeding urgently). Tell your team about all medicines.
