Overview

Lotel Ophthalmic Gel 5g contains loteprednol, a gentle corticosteroid in a gel formulation, used to treat inflammatory eye conditions. Post-operative eye inflammation, allergic eye disease flares and other steroid-responsive surface inflammation. Under the direction of an eye clinician. Loteprednol is designed to calm inflammation with a lower tendency to raise eye pressure than stronger steroids.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Instil the prescribed amount into the affected eye(s) at the frequency your eye doctor sets, completing the course and tapering as advised rather than stopping abruptly. Wash hands first, avoid touching the tip to the eye, and remove contact lenses before use unless told otherwise. Discard within the period stated after opening.
