Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually once or twice daily, with or without food, swallowed with water, at the same time(s) each day. The first dose may lower blood pressure noticeably, so take it as advised. Keep taking it even when you feel well, and do not stop suddenly without advice. Attend regular blood-pressure and kidney (blood test) checks so the dose can be adjusted.

Do not use in pregnancy. Tell your doctor at once if you become or plan to become pregnant. May cause dizziness, especially after the first dose or on standing, and a persistent dry cough. Tell your doctor if the cough is troublesome. Tell your doctor about kidney problems or high potassium, and avoid potassium-based salt substitutes.
