Overview
Triplixam is a prescription blood-pressure tablet that combines three medicines - perindopril arginine, indapamide and amlodipine - in a single daily dose. This 10mg/2.5mg/5mg strength is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults already controlled on these three medicines taken separately. Perindopril (an ACE inhibitor) relaxes blood vessels, indapamide (a diuretic or 'water tablet') helps remove excess salt and fluid, and amlodipine (a calcium-channel blocker) widens the arteries - together lowering blood pressure more effectively and helping protect against strokes and heart problems. Made by Servier, it offers convenient triple-action, once-daily control.
Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have severe kidney or liver problems, or a history of angioedema. Tell your doctor about all your medicines - potassium supplements, other blood-pressure drugs, lithium and NSAIDs can interact. It may cause dizziness (especially the first dose), ankle swelling, dry cough or changes in blood salts and kidney function; rise slowly from sitting and take care when driving until you know how it affects you. Avoid excess potassium/salt substitutes unless advised. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
