Sterile Blood Lancets (100 pack) are small, single-use sterile needles used to obtain a tiny drop of blood from a fingertip for testing. Most commonly for home blood glucose monitoring by people with diabetes. Each lancet is used once with a lancing device (or on its own) to make a quick, almost painless prick, giving enough blood for a test strip. Being sterile and single-use, they help prevent infection. Directions for Use

Wash and dry your hands first. Load the lancet into your lancing device (or use as directed), remove the protective cap, and prick the side of a fingertip. Gently squeeze to form a drop of blood for your test strip. Use a fresh lancet each time. Do not reuse, and dispose of used lancets safely in a sharps container or a sturdy sealed container, not loose in household rubbish.

Single use only. Reusing lancets is blunter, more painful and raises the infection risk. Never share lancets or lancing devices with anyone else, as this can spread blood-borne infections. Dispose of used lancets in a proper sharps/puncture-proof container. Keep unused lancets in their sealed packaging until use, and store in a clean, dry place.
