Overview

Mediscar Silicone Scar Gel is a clear, self-drying silicone gel used to help improve the appearance of scars. Including those from surgery, injuries, burns and acne. As well as raised (hypertrophic) and keloid scars. The silicone forms a thin, breathable protective layer over the scar that locks in moisture and supports the skin's natural healing, helping to soften and flatten scars and reduce redness, discolouration and itching over time. This 15g gel is suitable for adults and children on intact, healed skin.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, fully healed skin (not on open wounds) and allow it to dry, usually twice daily. Once dry, you can apply sunscreen or make-up over it. Use consistently for several weeks to months, as scar improvement is gradual. Follow the instructions on the packaging.

For external use on intact, healed skin only. Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Protect treated scars from the sun and use sunscreen, as scars can darken with sun exposure. Do a patch test if you have sensitive skin and discontinue use if irritation develops.
