The Medtextile Adjustable Abdominal Binder (L/XL) is an elasticated support belt that provides gentle, even compression around the abdomen. It is widely used after caesarean section and abdominal surgery to support healing tissues, reduce discomfort when moving, coughing or breastfeeding, and help new mothers feel more secure in the early weeks. It also supports weak abdominal muscles and post-partum recovery generally. The adjustable hook-and-loop closure allows the fit to change as swelling settles. A practical recovery companion for mothers and post-surgical patients.

Directions for Use

Use as advised by your doctor, midwife or physiotherapist. Wrap the binder around the abdomen over light clothing or directly on skin, positioning it to cover and support the abdomen without pressing on fresh wounds, then fasten the closure so compression is snug but never painful or breathing-restrictive. Wear during the day for the period advised, removing it at night unless directed otherwise. Hand wash and air-dry.

Do not apply tightly over fresh surgical wounds or drains except as directed by your surgical team. Loosen or remove if you feel numbness, increased pain, shortness of breath or skin irritation.
