Natrixam 1.5mg/5mg Tablets (30 pack) from Servier combine indapamide sustained-release and amlodipine in one modern once-daily tablet for high blood pressure. Indapamide, a thiazide-like diuretic with vessel-protective qualities, clears excess salt and fluid, while amlodipine relaxes and widens the arteries. Two proven, guideline-favoured mechanisms in a single tablet. For patients whose pressure needs more than one medicine, Natrixam simplifies the daily routine and supports the long-term consistency that protects heart, brain and kidneys.

Indapamide 1.5mg (sustained release) with amlodipine (as besylate) 5mg per tablet. Contains lactose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily, preferably in the morning, swallowed whole with water (do not crush or chew the sustained-release tablet). Take with or without food at the same time each day. Do not stop when you feel well. Hypertension is silent. Attend regular blood pressure, kidney function and electrolyte reviews.

Not for use in severe kidney or liver impairment, or with low potassium. The diuretic can affect potassium, sodium and uric acid (gout may flare). Dizziness and ankle swelling can occur. Rise slowly. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding except on medical advice. Caution with other blood pressure medicines, lithium and regular NSAIDs. Report palpitations, muscle weakness or cramps (possible electrolyte disturbance). Avoid large amounts of grapefruit. Store below 30°C.
