Overview

Nurofen for Children Orange Suspension 100ml brings down fever and eases pain in children aged 3 months to 12 years with ibuprofen 100mg/5ml. It relieves fever (including post-immunisation), teething pain, sore throats, earache and general aches, with effects lasting up to 8 hours. Helpful for getting little ones through the night. Sugar-free with a child-friendly orange flavour and a dosing syringe for accuracy, it is a fridge-door essential for parents.

Ibuprofen 100mg per 5ml oral suspension. Sugar-free; contains maltitol.

Directions for Use

Shake well. Dose by age and weight using the syringe provided. Typically 2.5ml (3-12 months, on advice), 5ml (1-3 years), 7.5ml (4-6 years), 10ml (7-9 years) or 15ml (10-12 years), up to three times in 24 hours, spaced at least 6 hours apart. Give with or after food or milk. Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours. See a doctor if fever lasts more than 3 days.

Do not give with dehydration (vomiting/diarrhoea), chickenpox, aspirin/NSAID allergy, asthma triggered by NSAIDs, or stomach problems. Not for babies under 3 months or under 5kg except on medical advice. Do not combine with other ibuprofen or NSAID products. Babies under 6 months with fever should see a doctor. Seek urgent care for drowsiness, stiff neck, rash that does not fade, or laboured breathing. Store below 25°C.
