Olfen 50 Lactab Tablets contain diclofenac sodium 50mg in gastro-resistant (enteric-coated) Lactab form, a widely trusted NSAID for the relief of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout flare-ups, back pain, dental pain, period pain and soft-tissue injuries. The enteric coating protects the stomach by releasing diclofenac further along the digestive tract. Olfen's quality Swiss formulation has made it a familiar choice in pharmacies for short-course management of moderate inflammatory pain in adults (20 tablets).

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is one 50mg tablet two to three times daily, swallowed whole with water during or after food. Do not crush or chew the coated tablet. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Do not combine with other NSAIDs.

Do not use if you have an active stomach or duodenal ulcer, severe heart failure, established heart disease or stroke history, severe kidney or liver disease, or previous allergic reactions (asthma, swelling, hives) to aspirin or other NSAIDs. Not for use in the last trimester of pregnancy. Can cause stomach bleeding. Stop and seek urgent care for black stools or vomiting blood. May raise blood pressure; use cautiously in older adults, dehydration and kidney impairment. Avoid alcohol during treatment. Store below 30°C.
