Overview

Opsite Post-Op Dressing 25x10cm (20 pack) is a sterile, waterproof transparent post-operative dressing from Smith+Nephew. Combining an absorbent pad with a breathable, water-resistant film. It covers and protects surgical wounds and incisions, lets you shower without soaking the wound, and allows the wound to be monitored, supporting clean, undisturbed healing.

Directions for Use

On clean, dry skin around a wound dressed by your clinician, apply the dressing to cover the wound with the pad centred over it, smoothing the film down without stretching. Follow your clinician's advice on how often to change it and when it can get wet. Use sterile technique; each dressing is single-use. Do not re-use.

Use as directed by the healthcare professional managing your wound. Watch for and report signs of wound infection. Increasing pain, spreading redness, heat, swelling, pus, odour or fever. Which need prompt medical attention. Do not use on heavily exuding or infected wounds without advice. Some people are sensitive to adhesive films. Report itching or rash under the dressing.
