Panadol Advance 500mg Tablets from GSK contain paracetamol, a trusted everyday pain reliever and fever reducer, in a formulation with Optizorb technology designed to break down and be absorbed faster than standard paracetamol tablets. Paracetamol relieves mild to moderate pain. Headache, toothache, period pain, backache, muscular aches, and brings down fever, including the discomfort of colds and flu. It is gentle on the stomach when taken as directed, making it suitable for most people. A trusted, fast-acting household painkiller for families.
Active: Paracetamol 500mg per tablet (with Optizorb formulation).
Directions for Use
Take as directed on the label. For adults and children over 12, usually one or two 500mg tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, swallowed with water, without taking more than 8 tablets (4g) in 24 hours. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing medicine. Use the lowest dose needed; see a doctor if pain or fever lasts more than a few days.
Never take more than the stated dose or combine with other paracetamol-containing products. Overdose can cause serious, sometimes delayed, liver damage, so seek medical help immediately even if you feel well after taking too much. Tell your doctor about liver or kidney problems or heavy alcohol use. Suitable in pregnancy at the recommended dose, but check if unsure. Store below 30°C.
