Panadol Elixir is a children's paracetamol oral solution that gently relieves pain and reduces fever in children aged about 5 to 12 years. It eases the discomfort of fever, headache, sore throat, teething, earache, and aches and pains from colds, flu and after vaccinations. Paracetamol is one of the most widely trusted medicines for children, and the easy-to-measure liquid form makes accurate dosing simple for parents. Sugar-considerate and pleasantly flavoured, Panadol Elixir helps mothers care for unwell children and bring comfort quickly and safely when used as directed.

Active ingredient: Paracetamol oral solution (commonly 120 mg or 250 mg per 5 ml).

Directions for Use

Shake before use and measure the dose carefully using the measuring cup or syringe provided. Never a household spoon. Give the dose appropriate for your child's age/weight as stated on the pack, usually every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period, and leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give alongside other paracetamol-containing medicines. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.

Contains paracetamol. Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing product, as overdose is dangerous. Stick strictly to the dose and frequency for your child's age; if symptoms persist beyond 3 days, the fever is very high, or your child seems unwell, see a doctor. Seek urgent medical help if too much is taken, even if the child seems well, as early paracetamol overdose may show no symptoms. Tell your pharmacist about any other medicines or conditions.
