Peditral is an ORS Sachet (Oral Rehydration Salt) used to treat water and fluid loss in the body due to diarrhoea, vomiting, muscle cramping or exertional heat illness. Over exercising in hot or humid weather can lead to excess loss of liquids from the body. It is a combination of Dextrose and a number of essential electrolytes like Potassium Chloride, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate.
Dosage: Mix the powder of the entire packet into 200 ml of fresh, cold, drinking water (for adults and children). for infants, use freshly boiled and cooled water. Stir the powder well until dissolved. Then can be consumed.
Ensure to use the powder in sufficient water quantity. In case of shortage of water, the condition may worsen– usually, the diarrhoea worsens instead of healing.
