Probeta-N Eye/Ear/Nose Drops 7.5ml combine a corticosteroid (betamethasone) with neomycin, an antibiotic, in versatile drops for inflamed, infected conditions of the eye, ear and nose. The steroid rapidly calms redness, swelling and itching while neomycin fights susceptible bacteria. Used for conditions such as infected eczema of the ear canal, inflamed eye conditions where infection risk exists, and inflammatory nasal conditions, strictly under medical direction. A practical multi-site prescription drop in practice, used in short supervised courses.

Betamethasone (as sodium phosphate) with neomycin sulphate drops. Confirm strengths on product packaging.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Typical regimens: eye: 1-2 drops every 2-6 hours initially, reducing as inflammation settles; ear: 2-3 drops three to four times daily; nose: 2-3 drops into each nostril two to three times daily. Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper to any surface. Complete the prescribed course; do not use beyond 7 days without review.

Do not use in viral (herpes), fungal or tuberculous infections of the eye, or with a perforated eardrum (neomycin can damage hearing). A doctor must assess first. Prolonged eye use can raise eye pressure, cause cataract and thin the cornea. Use only short, supervised courses with follow-up. Stop and report worsening pain, discharge or vision change. Not recommended in pregnancy unless clearly needed. Discard 28 days after opening. Store below 25°C.
