Proxym 300mg Tablets (10 pack) contain etodolac in an extended-release form, a prescription NSAID from Emcure for the pain, swelling and stiffness of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Etodolac preferentially targets the COX-2 enzyme behind joint inflammation, providing extended relief from a convenient dose with relatively less stomach irritation than older NSAIDs. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Typically one 300mg extended-release tablet once or twice daily with food or milk to protect the stomach. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary time, and do not combine with other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen or diclofenac.

Avoid with active stomach ulcers or bleeding, severe heart failure, severe kidney or liver disease, aspirin/NSAID-triggered asthma, and from 20 weeks of pregnancy. Long-term NSAID use raises blood pressure, cardiovascular and kidney risks. Attend reviews. Caution with blood thinners, diuretics, ACE inhibitors, lithium and methotrexate. Stop and seek care for black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain or swelling. Avoid alcohol. Store below 25°C.
