Rivaxored 15mg Tablets (14 pack) contain rivaroxaban 15mg, a direct oral anticoagulant ('blood thinner') that helps prevent and treat dangerous blood clots. The 15mg strength is used in the treatment of blood clots (deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism) and to prevent stroke in atrial fibrillation, as prescribed. Rivaroxaban blocks a key clotting factor, reducing the risk of stroke, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, without the routine blood-test monitoring older blood thinners require.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Take exactly as prescribed. The timing and whether to take with food depends on the strength and indication, so follow your specific instructions precisely (some doses must be taken with food). Take it consistently at the same time, never miss or double doses, and do not stop without medical advice. Stopping raises clot and stroke risk. As a blood thinner, rivaroxaban increases bleeding risk.
