Safetelmi-H 80/12.5mg Tablets (30 pack) combine two blood-pressure medicines in one tablet: telmisartan 80mg, an angiotensin-receptor blocker (ARB), and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg, a thiazide diuretic (water tablet). Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking a hormone that tightens them, while hydrochlorothiazide helps the body remove excess salt and water. Together giving stronger blood-pressure control from a single daily tablet, used when one medicine alone is not enough. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet once daily in the morning, with or without food, swallowed with water. Attend regular blood-pressure and blood-test checks.

Do not use in pregnancy. ARBs can harm the unborn baby; tell your doctor at once if you become or plan to become pregnant. The diuretic can affect body salts and lower blood pressure. Report dizziness, severe thirst, muscle cramps, or weakness, and rise slowly. Tell your doctor about kidney problems, gout or diabetes, and avoid potassium-based salt substitutes.
