Overview
Serrazen Plus Tablets (10 pack) combine the anti-inflammatory enzyme serratiopeptidase with pain and inflammation relievers (typically diclofenac and paracetamol) for swelling and pain. Serratiopeptidase helps thin secretions and reduce tissue swelling, while the painkillers ease pain and calm inflammation. Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one tablet twice daily, after food, for the short period prescribed. Swallow whole with a full glass of water; the enzyme component is best taken on a relatively empty stomach but the painkiller is gentler with food, so follow your doctor's specific timing advice. Do not take other paracetamol products at the same time, and use for the shortest time needed.
The anti-inflammatory component can irritate the stomach and affect the kidneys, heart and blood pressure. Tell your doctor about ulcers, indigestion, kidney, liver or heart problems, high blood pressure or asthma. Do not combine with other paracetamol or anti-inflammatory products. Stop and seek care for black stools, severe stomach pain or signs of allergy. Not recommended in late pregnancy, and use in breastfeeding only on advice. Store below 30°C.
