Overview

Simbrinza Eye Drops are a prescription medicine used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. They combine two active ingredients. Brinzolamide and brimonidine. Which work together to reduce the amount of fluid produced in the eye and improve its drainage, lowering intraocular pressure and helping to protect the optic nerve and preserve vision. Simbrinza is used when a single medicine does not control eye pressure adequately.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor or eye specialist. Shake the bottle well before use. The usual dose is one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily. Wash your hands first, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye, and press gently on the inner corner of the eye for a minute after instilling. If using contact lenses, remove them before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.

This is a prescription medicine. Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, heart or circulation conditions, low blood pressure, depression, or severe liver disease. May cause temporary blurred vision, drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive until your vision is clear. Eye redness, taste changes or dry mouth can occur. Not generally recommended in young children, pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised. Use only in the eye. Discard within the time stated after opening. Store as directed.
