Solifen 5mg is a tablet containing solifenacin succinate 5mg, a prescription medicine used to manage overactive bladder (OAB). It helps relieve the frequent, urgent need to pass urine and urge incontinence (leaking urine). Solifenacin belongs to a group of medicines called antimuscarinics, which relax the bladder muscle so the bladder can hold more urine and you visit the toilet less often. It is suitable for adults living with the discomfort and disruption of an overactive bladder, offering once-daily relief of these bothersome urinary symptoms.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is one 5mg tablet once a day, which your doctor may increase to 10mg if needed. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. Use with caution if you have kidney or liver problems, urinary retention or certain stomach and bowel conditions.
