Saferon Plus Chewable Tablets are an iron supplement with supporting nutrients, used to prevent and treat iron-deficiency anaemia. One of the most common nutritional gaps among women and adolescents . Iron is essential for making haemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen in the blood; low levels cause tiredness, weakness, pale skin and poor concentration. The chewable format is gentle and convenient for people who struggle to swallow tablets, and added nutrients such as folic acid and B12 (see packaging) support healthy red blood cell production.

Directions for Use
Chew one tablet daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Iron is best absorbed away from tea, coffee and dairy, so take it with water or juice between meals if tolerated, or with food if it upsets your stomach. Take consistently; rebuilding iron stores typically takes 2-3 months. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Iron products are a leading cause of accidental poisoning in young children. Keep strictly out of reach. May cause dark stools (harmless), constipation or mild stomach upset. Take iron at least 2 hours apart from antacids, calcium, thyroid medicines and certain antibiotics. Do not self-treat anaemia long term. Unexplained or persistent anaemia needs medical investigation. Confirm composition on the packaging. Consult your doctor before use if pregnant. Iron is often recommended, but the dose should be confirmed. Store below 25°C.
